This movie was so much more than the plot line, the music was amazing. This was like the concert of the century. I loved every performance with real musicians and singers. I purchased this movie because of it. Many of the artists had died but I will have this as a reminder of great music.
I loved the fact that a lot of the original characters were in this film. The addition of John Goodman, Joe Morton and "Buster" was a good mix. Although we all missed "Jake", all in all, the movie was good. I was surprised by the negative reviews. It was a good entertaining movie. Yes, the car scenes were a bit much, but they always are in most movies.

"Mountainhead" should have been called "Dumbhead". This movie was so awful I only lasted 20 minutes. The dialog was horrendous and boring. I do not see how this is comedy, there was nothing funny at all.
I tried to stick with the movie, but I just could not do it. Watching men pontificate their greatness, and that fact that they are the only ones who know what is best for everyone else is not my idea of entertainment. Unfortunately, I will never get back those wasted minutes which could have been better spent watching reruns of "Hell's Kitchen".
Aside from paying for MAX, I am so glad I did not spend theater money on this dribble. You know, tickets and snacks. Wow, what a waste of my time.

I started out planning to watch one episode but couldn't stop. The storyline was fantastic. This program was well written and well acted by all. Aldis and and Isaiah were the perfect partners. You could feel the brotherhood between the two characters. When I heard Juanita Jennings voice, I thought for a minute, and then I said "Miss Enda". So glad to see her again. My girl Karen Robinson from "Pretty Hard Cases" did her thing as Miss Nancy. She is a wonderful actress. Ryan Eggold took me by surprise. Whoever casted the children in their roles were spot on for a change. The rest of the supporting players were fabulous. Can't wait until the next arc in the series.
