If you've played even just one game of mario, you'll have a blast watching this movie. There are a lot of easter eggs and the music is phenomenal! In my opinion the voice actor should still have been Charles Martinet for both Mario and Luigi and not just be a random character on the movie.. The voice acting wasn't bad but the generic "Wa-hoo" and "It'sa Me!" are voicelines that fans of the franchise love and the movie dismissed it by making it a short joke. Although I'm saying this, the voice acting wasn't as bad as people thought it would be, chris pratt still did a good job and so did everyone else performing voices in this, I'm glad it turned out this way just thought it could have gotten some little tweaks.
I rarely take my time to write reviews on IMDb and this is a clear exception. One of my biggest fears is slowly losing my memory and not being able to recognize the people I love wholeheartedly, and this movie made sure I cried a river of tears throughout the beautiful journey of watching it. Anthony Hopkins is, without a doubt in my mind, a fantastic actor who helps this movie shine. The story is phenomenal and, at one point, I legitimately thought I was watching someone suffering from Alzheimer's.
If the movie didn't throw the word "Anthony" at me every now and then, I can be certain that I wouldn't even remind myself that that man is Anthony Hopkins.
I always see actors and actresses but I also allow myself to establish an emotional connection with their characters.
There are very few movies that I have watched where I completely forgot I was watching a movie, and this is one of those movies. I got lost in the movie as Anthony got lost in his mind. In the very end, I didn't see Anthony Hopkins, I saw an old man suffering from a horrible disease. I sincerely hope Hopkins gets an Oscar for the genuine tears he spawned on my eyes.
It's a beautiful film and you won't regret watching it!

This series are by far, the most amazing and interesting ones. I literally watched the whole 10 episodes nonstop in a row, and I'm proud of it. My eyes just lighted up when I saw the Season 1, and I've to say that I want more! That's mainly why I'm writing this review, because I want and need more! I've come addicted to these TV series, and I love it! I simply loved the "Episode 3: In Manus Dei", the drama on it actually made me cry, and I don't cry much on drama movies, or drama TV series, but this one got me good. I'm currently watching Person Of Interest, but it's ending on Season 5, which I'm currently on (waiting for further episodes) and I need other series to watch. Houdini and Doyle sounds just right type of series to fill that empty space!
