  • "Every question you've had about your life in 8 minutes or less."

The movie comes with an intriguing tagline: "Every question you've had about your life in 8 minutes or less." At the film's outset, poor Nathan has died and finds himself in a white, featureless void of an afterlife. Intrigued by it all he starts to ask some really personal question at first like 'What was his bravest moment' and 'How close did he come to a shark in the ocean'? but soon, as the answers cut deeper and deeper, the man begins to learn things he never wanted to know.

For people who are not into romance, if any, shouldn't let this viral short film get past them. The story unfolds in a way which bind the viewers, making them care about Nathan and think about what could've been?

  • Tinder doesn't work this way

These days, you can find love anywhere—in a bar, up a mountain or sat alone on the toilet—thanks to your smartphone. This short film explores that idea: can a regular guy find his love match on a crowded commuter train?

In 97%, Bert's alerted by his dating app to the fact that he has a— you guessed it—97% love match sat just meters away from him. The challenges for Bert, of course, is to find his potential life partner before the subway carriage reaches the end of the line. You'll have to watch to find out if he manages. It's certainly worth a look

In the past two years 97% (the dutch submission for the Oscars 2014) has been selected for more than 70 international film festivals including Aspen Shortfest, Sapporo International Short Film Festival and the Asiana International Short Film Festival, winning numerous awards on it's way.

  • Pixar Does It Again

Disney and Pixar are in their own separate league when it comes to animated movies and Lifted is not any different from the high standards they've set already. How they think of such original ideas year after year without compromising on the humor is hard to contemplate, really.

This short 5 minute film starts with an alien ship hovering over a stranded house in the middle of nowhere and as it happens in almost every sc-fi movie, aliens are trying to abduct the human from the house. You may not be laughing at the description, but trust me, when you see it, you will laugh. Laughter is inevitable.

This short is tears in your eyes hilarious. It is a one joke short, but the joke works so well and so funny that it doesn't matter, it only needs that one joke to carry it through.

Lifted may not be unique but it is surely funny and that's something you can't say for many movies these days. Lift your spirits with this one.
