This is supposed to be the story of David. But don't be fooled into thinking this Biblical. Jon Erwin has made some wonderful movies. I had very high hopes in this movie. I made it through episode six before giving up in disgust. Photography and acting are good. The story and writing are confusing. Somewhat because the story strays so very far from the Tanaka (Bible Old Testament). The Bible is the best selling book ever. The story of David is a great story. Why did Erwin think he had to embellish the story, and commingle various other Bible stories to make David interesting? Don't watch!!!
Great America "Family"is anti-family. They seem to hire Hallmark writers who only know a few plots. As with most Hallmark movies, this one is based on a lie. Megan is getting married but enters her non-dating sister Kate in a Dream Wedding contest. Kate agrees to the lie so Megan can have fun. Before the first commercial break you will HATE Megan and despise Kate. The wedding vendors spend a lot of time and money to help Kate plan her fake wedding. This lie is hurtful to them. But I guess people don't matter to GAF. I'm sorry, but this is definitely not the way I want to raise my family. I don't care how it ends. A lie is a lie. Let's find a new family network.
Self-absorbed Natalie needs a new roommate in order to help maintain her lifestyle. Her ninth roommate is Iris who is very eccentric. Stuttering, childlike, horrible dresser, yet willing to give a stranger her lunch and most people come to love her. It's nice to have a Christian-based storyline and the main character guiding us towards Jesus. It's also nice to see Erin Bethea as I enjoyed her in Fireproof. But the acting and script were HORRIBLE. The special effects with the climatic scene was not up to par. Is this our First Fruits? I would not recommend this movie. Sorry, it's really that bad.
