The latest installment in The Conjuring franchise unfortunately strays far from the chilling roots that made the original films so iconic. While it still carries the name and the familiar faces of Ed and Lorraine Warren, the film feels disjointed, rushed, and oddly detached from the eerie, atmospheric storytelling that once defined the series.
One of the most glaring flaws is the lack of tension and buildup. Instead of carefully crafted suspense, we get a barrage of predictable jump scares and overused horror tropes. At times, the film abandons its supernatural core and veers into slasher territory-more Wrong Turn than The Conjuring-leaving fans wondering if they're watching the right movie.
The absence of James Wan in the director's chair is deeply felt. His signature touch-the slow-burn dread, the masterful use of silence and shadows-is sorely missing. The direction here feels uninspired, with little attention to pacing or emotional weight.
While there are a few moments that show potential, and the cast does its best with a weak script, The Conjuring is no longer the haunting powerhouse it once was.

Those nostalgic sound of the car and the charged gun bring back all the memories. One of the best Ghostbusters movie...Hope to see more from this series...
