Such an aweful character and no counter to her that was satisfying or humerous. I had imagined so much better material without even trying and that just made me more certain this industry is beyind it's decline and in an insufferable rut. With such massive budgets for production these days, sad to see they've clearly skimped on the one essential aspect of a comedy, the humor. I just don't know how things get green-lit these days with clearly inferior material like this. I'm not even trying to say that I'm all that special in the fact I could do better, they just set the bar so low it wouldn't be hard to hurdle it. It's sad also that Catherine Tate is such a capable performer she deserved a better effort for this production. And considering the massive writing staff it's true that too many hands does spoil the pot.
