Like Neil Breen, Deundra T. Brown makes the sorta vanita project that can't be quantified by the usual ratings system.
To give her bloated, narcissistic, nonsensical tosh 1/10 is an insult to every other film that has been given 1/10 in the past. I would like to give this film MINUS STARS, but that is not possible under the IMDb system.
Let's just say that this is the worst film in the blighted DTB filmography, which is saying something. I think the meta references to Ms Brown as some sorta mega-pop superstar, a prolonged SA scene (which is completely unnecessary to the "plot") and a ridiculous "it was all a dream...or WAS IT??" ending pushes this one to the top of a very bad sh*tlist. Do not pay to see this film. Do not illegally stream this film. Do not watch this film ever. And denounce any of your friends who DO choose to watch it.
As for the other reviews here that have been clearly written by the director/writer/actor and/or family members, ignore them entirely. This film does not warrant the current 6.8 rating on IMDb. Negative 6.8, maybe.

A few years back I contributed to a Kickstarter campaign to help get this doco produced and I'm so happy to see that it's finally finished and being showcased at film festivals around the country. It's an amazing documentary about an amazing woman who I first learned about in the early 2010s while working at PEOPLE magazine. Morgana had divorced her husband several years earlier and left her repressive, suburban mum existence behind to reinvent herself as a fabulous 50+ porn star. Her short films were erotic, bold and the complete antithesis to the cookie-cutter, plastic porno pumped out in the USA and Europe. I was enthralled by Morgana and pleased that I could write about her and promote her work in the magazine. Now, thanks to filmmakers Josie Hess and Isabel Peppard, Morgana's extraordinary story - from her earliest childhood memories in desolate Coober Pedy to international acclaim in Berlin and beyond - can be shown to an even wider audience. It is a powerful - and empowering - movie that focuses unflinchingly on both the highs and lows of her life. Thankfully, there appear to be many more highs these days. Long live Morgana and may she continue making arousing films that celebrate all aspects of glorious sexuality.
