The premise sounded intriguing so I gave it a shot. Holy cow!! It's awful from the start. Worst acting I've seen on a scripted show. I tried to give it a chance but after 3 episodes over the course of a week I couldn't do it anymore. Canada has produced some phenomenal actors but NONE of them appear in this show. It almost feels like a homemade project among friends. So bad. Save your time. Don't watch.
Oh boy! So, started watching this with season 1, episode 1 and yikes, it has not aged well. But what really is the worst part is the awful awful awful theme music. It's almost painful to listen to it. I do not know who thought that was the best choice. Kept watching to see if the show, the characters and the story lines would improve but now up to season 3, episode 4 and I can't say there has been an improvement. Perhaps it is because the shows are still taking place in the late 90s. Maybe I should have started with later episodes. This show has been on a long time so hopefully it improves but after reading many if the reviews im not holding out much hope.
First if all, you can not convince me that this is a documentary. These people come across as the worst actors ever. And true documentarians would never act this way or do things that they do. And worst of all, at times it seemed like a bad dating show. Secondly, the equipment they use is so basic. If you were going to do a TWO WEEK investigation wouldn't you go all out on every piece of ghost hunting equipment you could get your hands on? Lame. And lastly, PLEASE stop talking. They talk sooooooo much and so loudly that there is no way a ghost would come near them. There is constant dialog. Even if it has no basis in what's happening. Save yourself the agony of watching this. It's just a time and brain suck.
