José Guertzenstein is a partner in Produção Carioca.
He has been head of the production company along with Thomas Stavros since its founding in 2013. Before that, they had been participating together in several audiovisual projects, in a partnership of more than 10 years.

He produced, photographed and directed dozens of institutional and advertising videos. He has developed programs, films and series for FOX Brazil and Latin America, Multishow Channel, Globo Filmes, Tv Globo, Rede Record, A & E, as well as theaters plays and feature films. It also participates in the creation of scripts, collaborating and fostering research.
