I really dig this charming little indie rom com, not least for the naturally good performances, genuinely witty dialogue and likeable characters. I wish there were more films like this and another personal favourite of mine (The Sleepless). Small, intimate films that just concentrate on a couple of characters. 'Jeff' and 'Kate' are relatable, likeable and we know just enough about them (as they do of themselves in the movie's short runtime) to know that there could well be something special, if they ever take the plunge to meet in real life.
As someone who has been on dating apps for years with next to no success, I think this is the sort of scenario that I'd like to find myself in some day. I knew this would be my sort of film just 2 minutes into it! If the crew behind this should ever see this review, thank you for making one of my favourite indie flicks! :D.

I just watched this and I thought it was a great concept with an adequate execution overall. I'm a big fan of indie/low budget movies, especially Romantic Comedies and I also love vignette or anthology-style flicks so this appealed to me on that front.
The cast are mostly good with some very realistic dialogue and some clever one liners. It doesn't QUITE all sit together as much as I hoped, but it was a pleasant and entertaining hour and 40 mins to pass on a Saturday evening.
I hope we see more films about the need to feel even more connected than ever at this still strange and uncertain time in our current history.

I just watched this and thought I'd leave a little review to go under the only other one on here currently and pretty much echo what that reviewer said! I am a big fan of not just indie movies but even some more mainstream films that are very character/dialogue based and feel like you're privy to watching two real people meet and talk in mostly very realistic fashion (think 'Before Sunrise' or another recent indie favourite of mine, 'First Comes Like').
The performances are excellent, the crisp black and white photography and relative quietness of the locations (obviously down to Covid restrictions) lend to the atmosphere and tone of the movie. I found the two leads to be thoroughly engaging and I appreciated how much some of their philosophies and views on life echoed mine. It almost makes me want to go out and wander the streets in the vain hope of meeting a like-minded soul except where I live in the UK, nothing is really open late :-)
Well worth your time if this sounds like the sort of thing you dig.
