Just finishing episode 2 and I'm hooked. Not sure what the haters were viewing - this series is very solid and most intriguing with excellent story lines. The main characters are very interesting, well acted, and well developed without being sappy, lewd, or distracting. And, I absolutely LOVE the dog and international locations. The bad guys are most convincing too. The fist episodes cover really relevant and timely issues - sex trafficking and parental kidnapping. I am so happy to find a series with an actual storyline and not just salacious fluff. I will binge watch the rest with great interest.

An enjoyable watch with an interesting plot, excellent acting, wonderfully developed characters, and really lovely scenery. We really, REALLY loved the main characters, but also really, really liked the supporting characters as well - their acting was all around superb. The mystery unfolded quite nicely and the vineyard angle was such a beautiful backdrop for the mystery. Yes, the script was a little bumpy in only a few places with the reciting of background details, but this didn't detract from the story at all (as other reviewers here suggest). For mystery fans, this is a truly enjoyable watch. Looking forward to additional installments with these characters in this beautiful scenery. Really hope there are more to come.

Don't believe the negative reviews - This is an awesome mini series. It is very well done, with excellent acting and a very intriguing storyline. I enjoyed the slow burn as it made for a satisfying watching experience as things were slowly revealed. Also, the music is really enjoyable as well. The young leads did a terrific job with carrying the story - they are terrific actors. The teenage love storyline is perfect and not too sappy and, surprisingly had some to do with the overall storyline.

If you like sci-fy on the lighter side with a lot of mystery, you will definitely enjoy this mini series. I highly recommend.
