Finally a comedy movie that you actually laugh. The whole cinema was laughing till the very end, personally first time that I experience something like that.
The way that is made obviously is the same like the (g)old ones. Similar scenes and jokes. Liam Neeson was the best choice for this role since we know him as a non comedian actor. There were times that you could say it looks like a "Taken" parody.

What a beautiful movie I just watched!!!
I have so many things to say but I will try to keep it shortly. First of all I am also one of the many who watched it for Johnny Depp and yes he was amazing, not because I am fan but because he is really made for these kind of roles.
All the credits tho has to go to the creator of this film, Maïwenn, who did a marvelous job and she kept it real. What I mean by real? Not the history part, which I didn't really know so I can't comment on that, but the way she did the movie reminded me the old good days. Every scene was like a painting and what I loved in the movie was that the direction reminded me movies like "Maurice" and not modern productions like "Bridgerton".
Maïwenn, thank you for this movie, I hope that you opened a pathway for more to come!!!
My mark is 8/10.

Well, what can I say for that serie...just by its cinematography you fall in love instantly. You appreciate the serie not just as a classic TV show but as an art, because it is an art and as many they say, they need to teach this serie to schools etc, but ofc not only for that.
Lets all agree that it's not for everyone this show. Not everyone will appreciate it. Many will say it's boring with looong conversations and without any suspense or action. What we all have to understand is that the serie does focus to the drama part. They don't want to add any plot twist, but they want to disturb you and make you think! ... They want to play with your feelings and to be one with what the parents passing through. They are giving you "food for thoughts" and they try through the masterpiece scenario to make you understand and concern about how the kid had this evolution in a family like this one, and maybe to change some stereotypes. I could speak for hours about it.
In the end I would like to talk about the acting of the actors. Everyone was amazing. Ofc the kid was phenomenal and even famous actors should be jealous of him. They way he played the 3rd episode was from another planet! ... the father, Graham, what else are we gonna see from him? In every serie is brilliant but come on, how you can be that great? He played his character so f good. Same for the rest of the cast, it's very difficult to have a result like this serie, because of its unique cinematography and scenario.
My rate is 9/10.
