While traveling across the cosmos, Dustin Schyler Yoak, a writer, editor, painter, and podcaster of little renown among the outlying planets of our solar system, crash landed in a small suburb of Ohio. Seeing the value of a quaint and quiet lifestyle, he put down roots. In 2017, he graduated with a BFA in Creative Writing receiving high marks from his peers and professors all around. Having successfully infiltrated our culture, he co-founded Aphotic Realm Magazine in 2017, the podcast, Geek-Men and the Masters of the ThunderNerds the following year in 2018, and ThunderNerd Customs, his freelance painting and customizing service in 2019. Dustin’s latest work, Dead Falls, can be found in By Years End: a Year 47 Anthology, or other short stories found among the pages of Aphotic Realm Magazine.

To this day, Dustin resides at his home in Ohio, hidden among us with his wife and two female offspring, whom he spends his free time mediating arguments and maintaining galactic peace.

What can I say about this film? It has several of my favorite actors. But I was surprised at how little Henry Cavill was actually in it. I get it, it's definitely not lost on me but still, I couldn't help but feel cheated Cavill was one of my main draws to this movie and I remembered seeing all the trailers in advance but like I said, I was disappointed at how little he appeared in the film. Rockwell, Cena and Jackson were great here too. While it was a clever "twist" that things were the way they were, I still feel cheated out of a Henry Cavill Action movie. I guess I'll have to hope ungentlemanly warfare will be better and give me what I so desperately wanted here.

This felt like a desperate attempt to "subvert audience expectations" (like the Last Jedi) than it was to give us the cheesy, over the top, action movie that I wanted.

Cheers to the GOAT Bryce Dallas Howard who really is the MVP of this movie especially...well her or the cat.

I really enjoy found footage type films this one definitely fits the bill. If you like clover field or any of the other dozen or so movies out there like it, you'll enjoy this one. I saw it was only rated 4 point something but like I said. I enjoy these types of movies. Would've watched it a long time ago had I known it was a found footage type premise. Jesus, I'm not sure why anyone would write anything more than this. Sure it cuts down on people spamming likes it or whatever but this tells me I still have 88 words to go before I can submit. Personally I'd rather not rant to get my comment up but here we are.

Fun premise. Well shot imo. A few nit picks but nothing that deserves a 4 something rating overall. Personally I would at least give it a 5 but given I also enjoyed it, I bumped it to 6.
