It's been a long time since I've seen a decent Thai horror. I thought the premise was really interesting, and the acting made me feel invested in the characters. If there is anything I would've wanted more of out of the experience, that would be the phase of the story. I expected a much slower build-up; however, I think this was a good watch!
This movie made me really happy. I've always wondered what would happen if you were to combine Jurassic Park with Apocalypse Now or Predator. The results with a decent budget is a recipe for something truly wonderful.
Is this a contender for the best dinosaur movie over the recent years? I'm confidently going to say yes, yes, it is. However, my issues with the film is the length of it, I think they could've shaved off 30-40 minutes. My other issue is that while it clearly depicts a more mature and feral aspect of the dinosaurs, the film seems to ping pong between being serious to overly campy, especially the later portion, which became really comically absurd (Yes, I know, this is a movie with dinosaurs) I'm not holding that against it, I just think that it felt uneven in places.
Overall, I'm going to recommend it, now... where is a Dino Crisis movie when you need it? Take notes, Capcom!

I remember watching Karate Kid when I was eleven years old, I fondly remember liking the movies. When this show originally got announced, it intrigued me and made me want to revisit the franchise, and they've held up quite well, and I can see how much of that heart and charm has carried over to Cobra Kai. Not only does it excel at being a continuation of an established world, but it also comes full circle, the writers and cast brought so much passion and love with a sprinkle of cheese and feel-good moments that I just kept coming for more.
The fight scenes were for the most part great, especially in the later seasons as the stakes got higher, each character grew on me, It really made me care about them.
If there is any criticism I have for this show, it has mostly to do with some of the goofier aspects of it, I had to suspend my disbelief to really appreciate it.
Overall, Cobra Kai is a satisfying show!
