This movie has a great need for solace or justice or some sort of resolve or vengeance but it is truly a sad story

The first half was a good introduction to the characters and slowly started showing the dark side of the hosts, then the 2nd half absolutely mangled the movie into a crappy sad story in which the protagonist (id barely call him that) has no desirable qualities iof a man and let's the host family take over his life and show him how much of a bi**ch he is. I love Takeshi, but honestly not what I was expecting at all, got wierd about halfway then the story was completely changed, maybe that's his comical side, of which I'm not aware cause only movies I watched for him were really serious yakuza flicks like Outrage and Brother.

The story of this movie is not bad, but the action in it is actually good, it's a little slow at first and then gets much better, I don't look too far into movies, but I can tell when a movie is just crap, acting is great, action is great I rate it a 7, well worth a watch, I don't understand the ratings it gets I think a lot technical wanna be movie whizzes are rating a lot of underestimated movies these days.
