Renata Lutvinova is a phony Russian "bomonde" personality, pretending to be a successful actress and a film director, in reality being none of either one. Her "movies" are always a mix of obnoxious annoyance, multiplied by bad acting of herself. Naive viewers are trying hard to see through the barricades of incoherent mess, to understand the very idea, but nothing comes up to help. Russia is famous for self-proclaimed individuals, who promote their own "talents" , getting all the fame from ignorant admirers, but only locally. She is one of those. A very bad movie, by a very bad director. Period.
We were planning for a cozy evening with another Woody Allen's masterpiece...But, instead, we got to see a very disturbingly boring and staged play, with very badly chosen cast, including Selena Gomez ( I wonder if Bieber will appear in Allen's next movie as another rich kid with drugs problems, looking for orgies with minors or something else ). Woody Allen has to stop pouring fake rain from already sunny skies over the heads of naive watchers. The only good thing in this movie were the decorations. It is so funny to read here positive reviews of those naive folks, who have no natural taste for truth, sincerity, depth, passion and sense - those five factors that make every movie great and memorable.
Just another Nevsky-Kurytsin lame movie making attempt. Talentless in all ways, pointless and ridiculously stupid. See for yourself.
