Humorous ageless look at both sides of Workers vs Management . Peter Sellers and Ian Carmichael and the supporting case are very impressive. Watching it on TCM you notice the sound suffers from not been corrected from the Uk's 50 cycles per second to the 60 cycles per second. So all the dialogue is a bit higher pitch. Nice clean print if the movie , but it really needs a speed correction. Very impressive with Peter Sellers performance.

There is just something about this movie that I have watched it 3 times over the years. It's a very subtle SciFi that makes you use your imagination as all good stories should. It seams a very believable story line for a SciFi movie. Sure it's not a Action packed dribble that so many newer SciFi movies have. It's more like a 2001 where you have to think about what is going on. It also shows that you do not need a massive budget to make something that is believable.

It's really a movie for someone that reads SciFi books and can relate to what the movie is trying to tell.

It's not the usual fast pace SciFi movie that we see today with all the action and unbelievable effects and drama.

In my opinion it's a believable story and so well done. It's remarkable with such a limited budget We need more SciFi movies like this.

A really good British Classic TV Drama, very well done.

Roy Marsden and the rest of the cast give a great performance as does the, filming crew with very high production standards.

The DC 3 flying scenes are remarkable ! Well worth watching just for themselves.

Well written script with a very believable story line.

What I didn't like was the 80's synthesizer music soundtrack , Really took away from the whole feeling of this other wise perfect time period drama.

It's too bad a second season wasn't made.

Roy Marsden has always been a favourite of mine after watch The Sand Baggers , such a great natural actor that's totally believable.

So glad that Network put out this High Quality DVD box set.
