When was the last time we saw a good romance come on screen? Bridgerton is series, and it caters to a commercial audience. But to literature lovers, readers and bookworms who enjoy poetry, and literary conversations, this trope had been dead from cinema. This movie breathed some life back into it. After the series One Day, its been quite a while since I have watched a beautiful tear-jerker. You have seen this story before, in Me Before You. But that doesn't kill the appeal of this film. I loved the fact that grief was processed by different characters in different ways, and our female lead was no sob-woman. She was a strong, brave, charismatic female lead who knew her boundaries and respected others'. I loved the cinematography, the character conflicts, the heartbroken father and this sure touched my heart. Watch it, if you are a literature lover. But also keep some chocolates by your side...
