Ok, I know everything is going woke, but seriously, one of the characters is a tampon. Tampon. The nonsensical, never ending stream of useless dialogue, wears you out very quickly. Silly little movie. Just plodding through this erratic film scene after scene.....what is the purpose? So you have a a tampon as a character? Was going to show this to my little neighbour because I thought the concept would be cute, but this would hold a child's attention for a nano second, which is just short of how long it could hold 4 adults' attention. We were struggling. Babble, babble and more silly babble. Little ugly shells all bouncing around, hoarding stuff from people and this, I think was supposed to be their "cute" little world.
I made it to the end hoping something, anything, would come out of this film. I was bored to tears! Farrell is wasted in this whole spectacle. He is limp, pale, whispering and sissy. Not the kind of Farrell we want! And I won't even go there about how "woke" this stupid family was. So woke that one of the "kids" is a robot. Seriously? I was supposed to feel something there. Oh yeah. It was boredom.
A vulgar bunch of losers let loose in such a beautiful land. I'm from Glasgow and I wanted to really like this but other than gorgeous scenery and nostaglia seeing places I know, I was severley embarrassed by the trash talk and even trashier behaviour. Gross. A manky bunch of sk..ks. Scotland can produce quality entertainment and amazing programmes. We don't have to settle for this.
