I'm surprised by how completely unfunny it was. For the first half I didn't smile even once, and then I just turned it off because it was incredibly boring. Someone wrote that you need to be 45 to understand the jokes - that's not true. I'm 44, I understood the jokes, they just weren't funny. At all.
Pointlessly dragged-out scenes. Often cringy. Often tacky.
But above all - what's with the music? It's so mismatched in most scenes, like borrowed from The Princess Diaries.
The wife's acting is unbelievable. Unbelievably bad.
I don't believe there's one person who watched it from the beginning to the end, constantly.

Selena was amazing, and it's wonderful to keep her memory alive, but the film is terribly made.
Its structure looks like this: a one-sentence comment from Selena, a one-sentence comment from a family member, a one-sentence comment from a band member, a minute of a performance

- and this repeats for 1 hour and 37 minutes.
