  • You have to watch for the right reasons

Listen, this show is far from perfect. The plot drifts pretty aggressively after the beginning. It's also an incredibly difficult watch at times; not because of the gore but because apart from the core characters of Lois & Megan every single other character is so thoroughly unlikable - not just unlikable but in many cases downright despicable - that they often oversteer from caricature into genuine drain on the show. But the set pieces are so magnificently macabre. I'd argue some of the best since Hannibal. If you liked Hannibal and/or some of the more "artful" episodes of Criminal Minds but kinda wouldn't mind if you could watch it while somewhat focused elsewhere then you will enjoy this show.

  • Delta Force but make it Idiot Plot

Here's how every episode goes: a thing happens. Something does something completely idiotic in response to that thing happening. Characters spend the entire episode trying to make up for completely idiotic thing that they did. It looks like they're going to be successful. At the climax they turn out not to be successful because one of the characters does something completely idiotic. Cliffhanger ending. You genuinely now don't have to watch a single episode of this horribly written/directed garbage.

The actual action set pieces aren't the worst but the exact second the focus is put back on the characters they go right back to being the dumbest human beings on television.
