Jeepers Creepers (2001) has always been one of those movies that if it were ever being shown on cable, id immediately stop surfing and park it on whatever channel it's on.
When I first saw it I loved it. It was fresh and the concept and the monster were original. Horror had adopted yet another movie monster in The Creeper. Unfortunately, not one of the franchises sequels live up to quality of its original predecessor.
It's almost 4 am on July 21, 2024 and as I'm looking for Something to stream on my fire TV, one of the suggestions for me is none other than Jeepers Creepers and just as my 14 year old self wouldve done back in late 01 or early 02, I've parked myself on the MGM+ App to enjoy this now Horror Classic once more.

Honestly, this movie caught me off guard. When I first watched it, I put it on based on the short premise offered at the top of the page and THATS IT. When I saw where the story goes, I was presently surprised. The majority of the film takes place in the gunners pod which is located on the under part of the fighter plane which might be distracting for some but I liked the POV storytelling. Aside from the story of a woman fighter pilot in the midst of World War II and her struggles, the story takes a twist when the plane comes under attack from a GREMLIN! And we're not talking Joe Dante Mogwai gremlins, this thing is larger, meaner and scarier than that. Not to mention resilient to no end. If I were you reading this, I would say give it a try, it's worth it.
