I love the concept of this movie since I am indeed one of those people who would associate memories of a person to places around the city without even knowing it... so I can relate to this film a little too much. But I couldn't really enjoy this movie because the script was written by people who don't know how to write dialogues without sounding cringey or fake... A total wasted opportunity since the idea is really good.
This may be shocking for you, but I actually found the first movie of this franchise quite enjoyable. However, in the sequel, The Kissing Booth loses all of its quirky charms, which replaced by factors that makes a typical Netflix coming of age romance movie, cliche and predictable.
The only thing that is good about this movie is the cinematography and the scenery of Italy.
The 2 main characters are both equally nuts and incredibly stupid do I guess they do belong together. I love Robert and Bonnie as Tony and aunt May but this is such a joke!
