Season 1 I think some one had at least read the book and so did a reasonable job. The feel was getting there and a huge improvement on that silly rubbish with the tiny man playing Reacher ( though that could have been Hollywood arrogance) season 2 left me feeling sad and disappointed because the main character was diluted and weak.
Season 3 was utter garbage, just more cheap stupid mass produced tosh. The script writers either hadn't read the books or didn't care what they did. It was so bad that we were supposed to believe that someone shot 6/7 times in the chest could have a conversation.....don't bother anymore.

I first saw Cleopatra as a young teenager and it sparked in me a lifetime of fascination with ancient Egypt. It's such a visual spectacle that sent my imagination into overdrive, the critics say "this was incorrect" or " that didn't happen " but who knows? I think all the cast were sensational but Rex Harrison so inprinted his style onto Creaser that from then I always think of him that way. Elizabeth Taylor was perfectly cast to be both regal, vulnerable and sensual, I often compare her performance to that of Vivian Leigh in Gone with the Wind.
I saw it again this last weekend and was just as awe struck and did shed a tear at the end.
