I rarely write but always put my ratings up on shows and movies I love.
Have been hooked on Midnight Texas from day one and now in Series 2 when it has just gone up a few levels more of awesome I hear the network canned it and todays episode is the last. I hope someone brings it back, surely was meant to be more than 9 episodes in series 2. Some new twists that can play out over future episodes are set, but fear they are being forced to wrap it up quick.
This show gives you all you can want with dark supernatural action and is starting to get a bit more darker just when it has been axed.
I absolutely loved this film.
I never watched the Lord of the rings movies that made Elijah Wood famous. Maybe some clips here and there but that's it.
I have now seen a few movies with him since and the guy is awesome.
He plays the socially awkward guy so well in his films.
You look and see yeh I can see how a lot of people could hate this guy in the film but you just learn that's how he is and the guy has a great heart.
Is actually quite funny and a very loyal friend.
Was great to see Tony build a bond with Ruth the chemistry between them provided action drama and plenty of laughs.
This movie could happen to the average person. We all go through someone stealing our things from time, but was good they added normal people who have issues. Not everyone is happy bubbly people and was good to see a socially awkward pairing here, who look like a match made in heaven. The movie was must watch all throughout and never gave me a reason for a coffee or toilet break. I have now watched it 5 times in the past year since it came out. I enjoy it everytime. It is a go to movie for me when I need to warm my spirits a bit. As having MS life can suck sometimes. So thank god for movies like this and actors like Elijah Wood.
I may have to bite the bullet and watch the Lord of The Rings movies at last now. Also I have noticed Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter series plays some similar roles and dark roles very well. These 2 actors should not be boxed in to the series that put them on the map. They are great actors worth watching who build chemistry well with their co stars.Back to the movie it gave me all I wanted, created a story and a budding romance (whilst not getting to girly in that sense) it stayed cool. Then it also gave closure at the end. It did leave me wanting to see Tony and Ruth have another adventure. Maybe they have a kid and that kid gets bullied at school, I can see these two going on a vendetta to make things right.
For anyone looking for a movie well worth your time to make you smile and draw you in. This is it.
