  • A Superb Experience Full of Twists, Thrills, and Stars!

Undoubtedly, Tandob, directed by Raihan Rafi and starring Shakib Khan, is this Eid's most discussed and popular film in Bangladesh. The story, screenplay, acting, and videography are all extraordinary, making the movie capable of holding the audience's attention from beginning to end.

The movie's plot is quite engrossing, and several intriguing twists have elevated the cinema to a new level. In particular, the comedy scenes and dialogues bring the movie to life. The thrill and drama amidst the humor keep the audience engaged throughout.

Acting: Shakib Khan is truly unique for such a challenging role. It's difficult to find any flaws in his performance from start to finish. In every frame, he was heroic and portrayed the character's depth exceptionally well.

Jaya Ahsan was superb in her role. "She just nailed it." -This phrase truly defines her performance.

Although many did not initially receive Sabila Nur well before the movie's release, critics praised her after the song from the Lichur Bagane was released. Her acting in the film showed maturity and confidence.

Dr. Ejaz Sir, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Afzal Hossain, and other experienced actors enriched the movie with their skillful acting. And Siam Ahmed, who played Arman Mansoor, delivered an absolutely outstanding performance-a "fan-favorite." Technical Aspects: The cinematography and editing were highly professional and visually stunning. The cinematic beauty was noticeable in every scene. The sound design and background score were also appropriate and created an excellent atmosphere.

Songs: Compared to other Dhallywood films, very little screen time was spent on songs in this movie. Although the two songs released before the film's premiere received mixed reactions from the audience, they fit well with the film's narrative. However, the romantic song that has yet to be released is personally my favorite.

All in all, this film proves that Dhallywood is now ready to challenge Bollywood and other popular industries.

Tandob 2 has sparked audience curiosity with an excellent cliffhanger at the end. The presence of Afran Nisho hints at the plot for the future Tandob 2. However, it seems unlikely that psychopathic characters like Nisho (aka Surongo Masud) or Siam (aka Arman Mansoor) combined will be able to give Mikhail Shakib Khan a tough fight in Tandob 2. Nevertheless, it is hoped that Tandob 2 will surpass its predecessor with a new story, excitement, and blend of acting. Raihan Rafi can be trusted to that extent.

If you want to watch a modern, professional, and distinct Bengali cinema, Tandob should not be missed. It is undoubtedly a movie worth watching in the theater.

Ultimately, Tandob is not just a movie; it is a very bold and groundbreaking step for Dhallywood towards creating a movie universe.

  • "Toofan: A Masterpiece of Bengali Cinema with Peculiar Story, Tremendous Action and Stellar Performances"

"Toofan," directed by Raihan Rafi, is a cinematic triumph that showcases the best of Bengali cinema. The screenplay and direction are top-notch, weaving a tale filled with unpredictable twists that keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

The action sequences are arguably the best in the history of Bengali film, setting a new benchmark for the industry. Each fight scene is meticulously choreographed, delivering both intensity and realism that are rarely seen in regional cinema.

The soundtrack complements the film beautifully, with songs that enhance the emotional and narrative depth of the story. Shakib Khan's performance is a highlight, proving his potential and solidifying his status as a top-tier actor. Chanchal Chowdhury and Mimi also deliver remarkable performances, adding layers to their characters that resonate with the audience.

The widely popular supporting cast also plays a significant role in the film's success, each member bringing their A-game and contributing to the movie's overall impact.

Presence of a lot of twists in the story has surprised and pleased the audience at the same time as it was never seen in Dhallywood of Bangladesh as well as Tollywood of India .

"Toofan" is a must-watch, and fans are already eagerly awaiting for the second part of this riveting saga.

  • Rajkumar (2024): A Heartfelt Journey of Love, Sacrifice, and Resilience

The film revolves around how superstition, orthodoxness, and ego can ruin lives. Besides, it touches upon significant themes such as patriotism, parent-child relationships, unconditional maternal love, and the hardships of living abroad. While the first half had notable elements of romance and comedy, by the end of the movie, these aspects seemed insignificant amidst the extraordinary content. In just around two and a half hours, Himel Ashraf has showcased so much; who knew he was capable of this! His previous movies were outstanding, but in "Rajkumar," they seem like mere child's play.

The first half started like a typical commercial Bengali movie. The story begins with a young man's dream of going to America at any cost. The protagonist, after estranging himself from his birth father, starts his life abroad, portraying the struggles of expatriates, the pain of adapting to a different culture, and the complexities of relationships with foreign women. His sweet relationship with a foreign beauty was also captivating. However, before the interval, his true intentions of going to America are exposed. While the first half succeeded in entertaining the audience well, after the interval, what Himel Ashraf showed was truly unimaginable. In the second half, there were three scenes where I couldn't hold back tears. Talking about the last two scenes might spoil the plot, so I won't. The first scene that made me cry was when, in the face of death, someone was trying to buy 3.5 hand lands ( Share tin hat jomi) of his mother land in exchange of all his wealth earned during lifetime.

By portraying a mother's unconditional love for her child, the director successfully leaves a mark on people's hearts. The best song of this movie, in my opinion, is "Ma" (Mother). However, in the interest of keeping the story's secret, perhaps that's why the song hasn't been uploaded on YouTube or Facebook yet. Although one song (Ami Ekay Rajkumar" released before the movie's release received criticism, in the cinema, it didn't feel out of place. I will request to release another favorite song of mine, "Nishana" (Target), soon for the audience.

The movie featured some exceptional dialogues. Among them, the one that resonated with me the most was: "When an innocent person asks what my fault is, giving an answer becomes the most challenging task in the world."

In conclusion, "Rajkumar" is a wholesome family movie. Everyone should sit together and enjoy it, supporting healthy Bengali cinema.
