I'm sorry but there's tubi horror movies rated higher than this movie, which is just lunacy. This movie is taking a hit just for the hype created prior to its release. Firstly, acting by absolutely the entire cast is top notch unlike many low budget "indie" horrors. While, I appreciate and love indie's we over credit these movies especially where the quality of acting is concerned. I really thought cuckoo was an original story, with some scary or at least tense moments. Great scenery and atmosphere. Quality sound, direction and cinematography. It was one of my favourite horror/thrillers this year.

More people need to watch this I'm nearing the end and I've enjoyed the ride. Like I stated, this series has a bit of everything and should be enjoyed by many. There's drama, thriller, fantasy, horror and even romance. The writing, acting and scenery are A+ and work together to tell an original, fresh story. I could barely wait for each episode. There's a sense of mystery that gripped me and held me through the story. While it's not classified as a sci-fi, there was definitely an element of the unknown and surreal underlying. This is a real review. Give this show a chance, it's just a great series all around.

I thought at first this was a run of the mill - boy is haunted and no one believes him type movie, however, I was very wrong. This is a fresh story combined with great acting, directing and a perfect chilly tense atmosphere. I'm a horror/thriller lover and watch absolutely everything including foreign, indies, low budget, big budget. This ranks up there with some of my newer favourites like babadok and caveat. If I had anything negative to say it would be that the last half seemed too fast I would have liked a more drawn out, detailed ending. I was surprised to see the director didn't have a bunch of well know horror movies on his resume because it was that good.
