The hate on here is unreal. This was an awesome movie. I'm a fan of Sadie Sink and going from Stranger Things to The Whale to this, she's got diverse talents. This post-apocalyptic musical was fun. Yes, there are some weak plot points, but the movie deserves to be watched and loved. I was quite surprised to see Sadie singing so much and so well. It's a long way away from her angry character in The Whale. The story, the love, the singing, the setting, the costumes, the music, the concept, they're great. Where the plot is thin, this reminds me of the 1984 movie and even Dune. In a long book, you can explain everything. In the movie versions, you can only skim through the main details. Or make it very long. This movie works. Definitely watch it.
