This was not the cooking competition show it was billed to be. Don't get me wrong, I 'knew' the RDR girls, I 'knew' many of the non-RDR girls, and I actually know at least three of them. I wanted to like it, but I was let down by the lack of spontaneity. Everything seemed a 'bit.' Wouldn't this show have been so much better if it was Drag Chopped, Top Drag Chef, or Drag Supermarket Stakeout? The fakery didn't redeem the buffoonery.
It was, however, good to see the 'disgraced' Willam on the screen again. Murray Hill is the dogdamned KING of hosting. Harris and Burtka? I like them otherwise, but meh.

Against all odds, against all reason, this is my favorite Super movie and has been since I first saw it in 1984.
The dialogue isn't great. The effects are bad, maybe even for 1984. The story has tons of holes and flaws. But it's fun and we don't have to critical of something if it's fun enough. We never got Selena's background. Where did she go to witch school? Are she and Bianca partners? Why is Zaltar at peace with being banished to the phantom zone? Why do you give a blonde a brunette wig and they're suddenly unrecognizable? Why do they live in a derelict amusement park? How far is the beach from Midvale? So many questions. Oh well.
The phenomenal cast, though! Brenda! Faye! Peter! Peter! Mia! Just insanity.

I L-O-V-E-D it so much.
Yes, it is a stinker of a movie.
Terrible. Just awful. But sometimes that's the mood you're in and that's the mood I was in when I watched it. I needed something goofy and terrible and this was it.
Love the redux of Hayak and Baldwin. I don't know.
Like I said....pay me no mind...
