The producers seem to have lost faith in the series.

If we assess this as a thriller, not horror, it was ok. The performances were good, we should not disregard this, and the story was fine. Which is why I did not give a rating lower than 5.

Regarding the story, there were no surprises whatsoever. The story was too similar to "Dahmer" but without the quality or the interesting point of view.

I do not mind the lack of gore as it is not necessary for horror or an equally good experience, I enjoyed season 7 even if it is not my favorite. However, unlike Cult, I was left staring at the screen waiting for something to happen.

I won't say it's terrible. I won't say it's good. I will say that it's a glorified soap opera. It's something to watch when there's nothing good on TV.It's something to kill time when you are bored. You want to actually be entertained? Just check out something worth watching!Watch House of Cards, watch Mr Robot, watch Suits. Cover ups are part of politics and corruption is everywhere, we know that, but please have some respect for your viewers! Don't insult our intellect with soulless acting. The script is indeed not the best. But I do believe that entertainment can be there when an actor is good and pulls it off. Sadly, in this case, Kerry Washington can't pull it off. In conclusion, when you are bored and want to watch something while doing housework like cleaning, washing the dishes etc then watch Scandal.
