This was my first movie on a cable tv. So yeah it has a special place in my memory and my guilty pleasure too.
Armageddon remains a beloved classic not just for its thrilling narrative but also for its ability to transport viewers back to a simpler, yet exuberantly dramatic, time in cinematic history. Whether you're revisiting it or watching it for the first time, the film encapsulates the spirit of 90s action cinema in a way that's both endearing and unforgettable.
One of the most nostalgic aspects of Armageddon is its larger-than-life presentation, characterized by dramatic explosions, high-stakes tension, and a melodramatic yet heartwarming storyline. The film's soundtrack, particularly Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," became an iconic anthem of the late 90s, evoking memories of a time when epic disaster movies dominated summer box offices.
A solid watch even for modern times audience too.

Simply the best thing I have ever seen. Definitely a must watch.
It's a beautiful love story but with sugar coated facts makes it ugly. Injustice for Kashmiri Pandits once again.
