  • This is not a documentary.

Documentaries are a treasured form of filmmaking. They are often passion projects painstakingly filmed over time, without a big support crew and without a big budget. There are countless gems that have "hit big" with as much as a directors vision and an interesting subject.

This sadly, is not a gem of a documentary. It's only a long form of an advertisement for a brand.

The technician crew have produced a good product, though.

Is it fashion? Is it brand Beckham? Is it brand VB?

I'm a spice gal fan, and have nothing against Posh.

After watching all 3 episodes of this commercial, I'm left feeling sad for humanity.

Where was the arc and redemption of this subject?

Every scene felt staged and scripted, heavily controlled by a slick PR tension and outcome.

Sadly - this production hasn't done Posh any favours, and Netflix have a lot to answer for.

Subscribers are justified in questioning their monthly spend with this bad zigga zigga.

  • Wournos remains a fascinating subject

I assumed this documentary feature would be yet another Netflix serial killer sausage factory treatment. I was wrong.

It's definitely a treatment or four, but this production lacks a tangible viewpoint; mostly rehashing footage and ideas explored in Monster and various other documentaries (Nick Broomfield X 2) 6 of my 8 stars are for the inclusion of Artist / filmmaker Jasmine Hursts extensive first hand experience with Wournos. This was stylistically the only endearing aspect of this doco for me, and was far too brief.

Perhaps this documentary suffered from trying to achieve too much as a feature length. It's a really complex story, and would have been better suited as a four or five part series, with each episode dealing with significant themes.

    1. Biographical background of Wournos.

    2. The actual crimes, and the legal proceedings, media exploitation.

    3. Who she was, according to Dawn, Hurst etc 4. The impact and aftermath for the victims.

    5. Trauma and mental dysfunction and its impact on society.

    5.

  • Old Awarded actress Supports AnJol

,...and realises that there is only so much that AJ can carry on those slender shoulders, realising that this is not Troy.

This could have been goodest, better / & they knew.

The old awarded lady gives 5/5 claps that were clapped by her poorly paid loyal assistant.

Poorly paid assistant has been iced.

No more hair n make up.

    No more show.

    Hard movies always come round'ish.
