The death of Paul has left those of us that know, feeling even worse after watching this HBO documentary.
Why would this guy want to make a documentary about Pee Wee, when he wasn't even old enough to absorb the true impact of who and what Pee Wee Herman was? Or even old enough to experience Pee Wee Herman, first hand,...but try to kick Paul to the kerb, again (same same but different) Matt Wolf is quite happy to denigrate our dead Paul, in the promotion of his dreadful documentary, yet make him his subject and platform for fame and renound.
Oh, and the editing was below average.
& the bit where Natasha Lyone appeared,...with nothing of interest to say, other than to confirm that she appeared in Pee Wee footage when she was a 3 year old kid, with no recollection.
This dude is an exploiter and a clout chaser.

I actually watched this special and gave it a fair score of 6. It wasn't great, but certainly not an angry 1.

His podcast is podpop. And that's ok by the way His special is just netflake pop. It's not that serious, and that's ok too.
For those folk that measured and criticised his sweat mark on his yellow silk shirt - petty.
Silk is a bad choice under lights.
