I don't get why the bad reviews. I'm actually loving the show. Yeah, there are some things that I just sit there and think what were the ark designers thinking? Not the writers and creators, but the characters of the designers and government people. That is the premise of the show, how the crew handles the different problems. Personally I am already wondering about how the upcoming episodes will go and forming my own opinions about the story line. Watch the episodes and form your own opinions. I am looking forward to each episode and enjoying them very much! Don't miss an awesome show cause of a bunch of grumpy butts!

Now, admittedly I am a HUGE Christian Kane fan. I mean I would watch an infomercial if he was in it. LOL So even though I am not normally big into Christmas movies (Love the winter holiday and giving gifts and family and all, but I'm pagan so the Christian aspects of it just leave me a bit flat), I had to watch. I mean Christian is in it. But honestly I loved EVERYTHING about it. It's sweet, dear and that little girl just steals every scene. LOL Christian adores children to begin with and that comes through in his scenes with that adorable little blond bundle of smiles and giggles. That wasn't acting, that was just him and it was obvious it was. Seriously, this just has to be seen. And the best part, and I don't really think this is spoilery at all, but... Christian sings Christmas carols to the little girl in one scene and it's just amazing.

Hopefully what I am about to admit wont get me lynched by my fellow black bloods, but... the first couple episodes I watched simply because Dean Devlin was one of the executive producers and since he gave me Leverage, I wanted to be sure and support him. As the episodes continued and the characters became more and more fleshed out I became completely addicted. I must admit I have become loyally "team Janzo". The first couple of episodes I honestly thought perhaps he had taken one to many shots to the head. As I continued watching episodes it came to light that he is actually unbelievably brilliant. What I had first thought of as being a bit dull was actually a survival mechanism he learned while growing up in an abusive situation. The fact that the cast comes out to play with the fans on the twitter live party during the airings sure doesn't hurt, and they do play with the fans. They flirt, joke and tease right back to us. Doug Pasko is another executive producer and he is a super geek too that actually goes to conventions just for fun for himself rather than as a convention guest. I don't understand why so many gripe over Talon's character I think she is pretty amazing. I think if they wanted to, the four main (Talon, Janzo, Garret and Gwynn) could easily take over and run the entire place, no problem.

Seriously, give it a chance. It is so worth it and hopefully a second season as well!
