I can't hardly wait for the Season 2. It's been a long wait. I wonder what the twist could be. So far everything was done to perfection - the story, the acting, the setup, everything. Although this is not an action based series it keeps you very interested in what's going to happen next. My daughter and I watched every episode together and were very pleased with every moment. I can see that in the second season they have a nice set of new characters. I'm very pleased to see that. One of them is played by Olafur Darri Olafsson. Such a pleasent surprise. My rating for this series is definitly 10/10.

Dissapointed. I was counting days to watch this new version of "Persuasion" and then - nothing. I don't mind modernized versions of Jane Austen's books but I didn't enjoy this one. Before its release I thought that Cosmo Jarvis and Dakota Jonson as main characters are a bit wierd combo but sometimes you get pleasantly surprised with casting choices. This time it didn't work. There was no chemistry between them. I'm a fan of Cosmo Jarvis. Such a versatile actor. He could've been majestic in this role if his character was presented in a more close to the novel way. All actors in general did good job, the ambiance is right, directing is ok, but there's still something missing. Last year's "Emma" was a modern addaptation of Jane Austen's novel and I liked it. And I don't mind rewatching it. This one, I don't think so.

The main actress Jasna Djuricic deserves an Oscar. She gave such a great portrayal of a mother and a wife who's traying her best in the worst of situation. God forbid anyone finds themselves in that situation.
