I was totaly suprised by season 4. A friend just hit me up and told me that the hole season is already out. 2 days later I finished it. Oh Boy, it was so great to be back in the universe of the expanse.
Holden, Miller and Amos are one of my favorite characters of all time in a tv show.
After watching episode 9 I already knew that the finale can't top that. So it was no surprise that some of the side stories were set up for season 5 in this one. To be honest, to much Avasarala overall for my taste. The hole political angel on earth didnt really catch me, would've liked to see much more of the dying dream of the citizens on Mars instead.
Visually the season was a blast. The constructions on Ilus were beautiful from the outside and inside, really drew me into the hole new galaxy thing.
Can't wait for season 5!

Hands down my favorite episode so far!
Classic Amos shines like always, love this guy. Finally we get to see Miller again, with some crazy transformations, grasping more and more about what this being actually is. The hole episode had me on the edge of my sofa. The visuals in this one are amazing! Thats why I love the expanse so much, there is always a payoff to the (sometimes rather slow) buildup from the previous episodes.

I am a big fan of the show, but somehow I'm kinda unsatisfied with the balance of vivid scenes and actual plot progression in the last episodes. I can only enjoy the stunnishing atmosphere for so long - at some point I just need more substance. I am still looking forward to the last episodes.
