I don't know anything about the game, really, but I loved what a ridiculous romp this was. Jack Black and Jason Momoa are class acts when united, and it made for a very funny film that kids and adults alike enjoyed in my theater. I'm not sure why the reviews are so low - either people are unaware that this is camp entertainment (which we are severely lacking these days), or they care too much about the game? I haven't any idea, but I will watch this movie again and again. I'm glad to have seen it, glad it exists, and I've missed Jared Hess' stylings these past few years.
Sometimes...you need the ridiculous.
Sometimes...you need the ridiculous.
I finished it.
Waste of time.
They ruined one of Agatha's best stories.
They ducked its life out.
They left its corpse hanging and called it beautiful.
It is not.
They dropped silly sentences that sounded like other books "I'm going to take the Blue Train and the Orient Express", as if that's a clever addition.
They lost all the heart and soul that made the twist at the end so delightful.
Why kill classics?
And if you're going to kill them, admit it up front. Name it something else.
Come up with your own trashy ideas and give them their own names. Don't pretend you know what you're doing.
Please. Stop.
