Liberals hate capitalism, saying the environment is unsafe, but they're the one who releases the problem(Xenomorph) to the environment; An Indian guy gets in the company, all he does is stealing things to take care of his family, putting his family over the company that saves his life, finally he ruins this company and doesn't successfully help his family either; Alien Xenomorph whispers, liberals act, liberals say:"They're honest..." I guess I know what represents Alien Xenomorph... So I for one, if the writer is neutrally telling us what's happening right now, I think I will rerate this show and every episode 10 stars even I have to tolerant that horrible unnatural halation effect on color grading... but if the writer is seriously trying to rile us up to brainwash us:" This is what we should act, to destroy and take over the capital that saves us, to bite the hand that feeds us." I will rerate this show and every episode 1 star because I'm too lazy to move the whole political spectrum theory here, you can all go to wikipedia...
I think the action directors, cinematographers and editors etc have done the great job because I don't feel this monster looks cheap or overexposed. And I saw a few reviews complaining about the story is too silly? So far I feel fine, not so pretentious like what Ridley Scott did, not so entertaining like AvP, it's just at the right spot lol. But It's a little bit off to add culture in, like Bangkok, Paris, New York... None, just the Earth, no need to mention any current city... Still think this IP must strictly ban hits, I don't mean in this episode but in episode 2 definitely, and in episode 3 there is a formed music just feels like Scream after the killer kills another victim, it's not some very American IP like Scream or AHS that you can add hits between different scenes, this IP isn't that POP, it's supposed to be dark, maybe just add some pretentious Ridley Scott Moody Piano Chord or some nebulous symphony? There are some flute in Alien 1 hitting that creepy vibe so much and it doesn't sound like a formed music. I love Timothy's acting, I expect to see his part in every episode the most.
There should be only sound effects, or some character playing a song in the film, but you can't directly add Hits in as BGMs, it's so tacky and cliched that ruins the vibe of this huge IP!!! Alien: Romulus has already looked like Stranger Things, Alien: Covenant sounds like Game of Thrones... Also, plz stop adding that Halation effect on color grading, I know you guys are trying to fake film prints, but not every type of film has that thing, and it really looks too much and fake and everywhere... Anyway, plz recall the following episodes and remove all the Hits and unnecessary soundtracks unless you wanna completely destroy this iconic IP, it's not Scream or Alita: Battle Angel, it's a dark horror movie with no too much sunshine.
