Things changed a lot since Damon Lawner was running things. The Showtime special isn't indicative of their current biz practices. I was approved and paid for annual membership. Not a simple application; I spoke to Lynn, the membership director a number of times. I rented a tux and paid a lot for booking non-refundable hotel.
Lynn then informed me a week later, out of the blue, that my membership was cancelled for some nonsensical reason. At least be honest about changing your mind after granting me membership. I only found out through contacting her about the party location. She was quite obnoxious and doesn't know how to represent Snctm at all; she lacked understanding of why an adult male would join an elite fantasy club. Lynn is making all of the approval decisions, and certainly never saw the EWS movie; they should be sued for their awful biz practices ......don't pretend to be reputable.

I liked it but certainly a bit slow. There wasn't enough of the backstory and not a movie for everyone. I gave it a 7 rating, but I think it could have been better.
