Good mini series, BUT the actual filming is too dark. Every room and setting is very dark, even in a busy coffee shop scene. The worse was in the interegation scene. One half of the actors face is in a shadow, and the other persons face is also in a shadow on the opposite side of the face. Trying to get artistic, I suppose, but it doesn't work. If the there is as interior setting, LET THERE BE LIGHT.. This technique of film making ruins a lot of these movies and shows made for TV.
The actors should be mortified when they see these dark, dark, interior scenes.
Otherwise the show has a good premise, some good acting and smart dialog.
Why ruin it with such dark interiors..Will not watch the last too episodes because of the horrid darkness of so many scenes.

Too bad the show wasn't as good as Kathy Bates acting.
Plot seems a bit convoluted and the acting by the supporting cast is terrible. The main black lawyer and and the Asian actress are bad actors. They really harm the show and make it almost impossible to make this show a stand out. Let's give these roles to people who can actually ACT!!
