Maybe it's because I don't like Mark Ruffalo, but this one doesn't hand out much to like in its pilot episode. The snail's pace story takes nearly the whole runtime establishing that this is yet another FBI-as-hero snoozefest and that the "hero" is a drunk.
That kind of kills any interest I might have had for this series, since I can't picture an FBI agent as a hero, I don't like stories about drunks, and I don't like Mark Ruffalo. Add to that the way this snorer is going to be doled out one episode a week and I'm all out of interest in this one.
I wonder when TV writers will finally give up on trying to make one bureaucrat with a badge after another the central characters in their dramas. HBO is dead, for all intents and purposes, and I'm an idiot for giving this latest attempt at a series a chance. Maybe I'll never learn.

After so many episodes in which Elliot Gould plays himself, now we have Richard Benjamin playing Richard Benjamin. There are two non-actors who have made careers playing themselves in films and TV productions.
I suppose that this is a way of revealing the phoniness of Hollywood studios, but it's boring. I'm thoroughly tired of Lee, Ezra and Stu, and I'm hoping that I don't see enough of Jerry to have to take notice of him.
Only in Fantasyland would any producer have any interest at all in Mickey's dimwitted storylines. Which reminds me that I'm pretty tired of Mickey too, by the way. Don't get me started on Claudette, either.
