Marvel hasn't had a great movie, let alone a good movie since the last Spider Man. This is neither great, nor actually good.
What this movie is, is a paint by numbers Marvel film. It breaks no new ground. Ever plot twist is predictable, especially the ending. You see it coming a million miles away.
I like how it gives the origin story in a neat little narrated montage. But after that, there's very little character development. It relies too heavily on people reading the comics. After two hours with these characters, you just don't care about them. And while theses are four excellent actors, they have ZERO chemistry.
As a kid I read some comics, and F4 was always my least favorite. I came into this movie wanting to like it. That didn't happen. What it did do was make want want to see more of Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chickless and Ioan Gruffud. While those movies weren't great, those four were fun to watch. The new four, not so much.

First saw this movie in 1989. Just re-watched again. It's a great look back on that moment when Depeche Mode was just about to break big....even though they had a huge following in the alternative music scene for a few years. The fans on the bus are kinda annoying, but typical for that time period (and a few of them had amazing 80's hair!). Would have liked to have seen the band interact with the fans at bit more...but I can understand why they kept their distance! Depeche Mode's live performances on this tour were amazing. Only wish there were a few more interviews with the band members But what's there is interesting.
The soundtrack may be my favorite live album ever.
