It's not bad but there is so many of these shows & just as many that a far superior.
As for Kate Olson, I'm a massive Sunny fan & I absolutely adore the cast & her character, they're so underrated as actors, but the curse of it is, that whenever they spin off to do their own thing...I can't help but see the Sunny charaters.
Kate suffers the most from this, it genuinely seems like Dee made it as an actress and is now in this show, unfortunately she doesn't deviate from her Sunny character and mannerisms enough for me to see past her as an actress playing a different role, it just feels like her previous character who has had a dream of being an actress since she was a kid has now made it.

Let's not forget the director is also the writer of this atrocious piece of film making, take away the fact the actors (even veterans) are made to look like they are amatuers in a community drama class, the director has the clear inability to film dialogue shots, made to look like a poor 90's, straight to dvd budget film, in our era...even budget films can still reach high levels if the writing & directing is on point.
Briefly moving back to the dialogue and the script, it's looks like it's been written by a frat boy, it's excruciatingly bad, the sort of words used by a teen imagining they're a super hero.
This quite easily takes the prize for the worst movie of the last 10 years, it's not even funny bad...its simple just bad.

Invincible chocked full of A list talent, incredible animation, the fight scenes are first class and not skipping on the gore and realism.
Unfortunately what let's the show down is the "real life" side of things, the relationships, the dilemmas of college/school life, in some cases it fits with the show, for instance Mark and his Dad fits, but all the others, dating humans, dating other team members, all just feel like fillers to what is a top notch gore filled action show.
It wants to be The Boyz but with way too much on the drama side of things, show me these guys ripping the arms of a bad guy...not Mark getting a hug from a friend or his new squeeze.
