A hallmark of first-year-college "film makers" is to use empty, mysterious plots as a substitute for profound art
This film is a perfect example of writers who couldn't come up with a cohesive story with any meaningful conclusion.
The film just rambles on from one uncomfortable scene to the next. It's annoying, unsatisfying and, in the end, it's a waste of the viewers valuable time.
Not recommended.

I want to see the movie that all of the reviewers were raving about because it certainly wasn't the movie that I, myself, had seen.
I simply could not get past the confusing elements or storyline. The zombie mummy. The nonsense about the keys. The typical "twins" plot device ( typical in mystery horror). The husband. The lunatic guy. I got all of them confused. And what of the guy with the glass eye who came to the door to warn her? I really couldn't stand any of it.
This review is about as disconnected, poorly written and confusing as the movie was.
I love to provide spoilers but I couldn't tell you what the movie was even about.

The fine points if the film arc well outlined in all the reviews here. So no sense in rehashing them.
So I'll just skip right to the part (s) that left me so cold about this movie.
Perhaps it's the fact that I've tried to get through it SO many times- and failed. Pushin' that boulder up the mountain, just to have it roll back down.
OK. I believe that in GBC fntite history of young boys, there have _never_ been conversations like these. The dialogue reminds me of the Stephen King, "Stand By Me" contrivances.
But the biggest turn off was the overcooked CGI- Too much. Too dark. Too Visually confusing. Add to that, one hell of a noisy soundtrack.
Try and I might and with the best of hopes, I tried to finish it. But I think I've finally given up.
