The idea of an idol group formed by 7 zombie girls and their crazed producer working together to save Saga Prefecture is absurd, and should not work as a cohesive story. Yet it does! The characters have personality and drama, and each have its arc, so they feel real despite the unreal circunstances. And most plot holes involving zombies are fleshed out into comedy punchlines. It is great!
Nice science fiction story with a cute romance and an amazing twist leading to a somewhat tragic conclusion. 10/10.
Unfortunately it was less then an hour of running time by then, and they wanted to charge full admission, so they added more movie. Everything that comes after that is filler.

Tohno Shiki is a high school student with Shinigami Eyes, a power he rather not use for reasons that are not explained. He kills a woman he never saw before, them she turns to him for help, none of which makes any sense.
Sounds misterious? It is not. Main character knows nothing, everyone else say nothing, and so the story goes nowhere. The animation is pathetic, characters show no facial expressions and barely move at all, so both drama and action are underplayed. If there was a point to this story it was in the main source, it did not translate.
