Noseferatu is the Godfather of the vampire movie genre, and this new adaptation had a lot to live up to and thankfully it delivers! This is possibly one of Bill Skarsgårds best movies in my opinion with the performance he brings as Count Orlok. Count Orlok is a MENACE, and every time he's on screen you have this sense of dread and fear. He is no human like vampire like The Vampire Diaries or Twilight. Orlok is a demonic/soulless vampire that must be destroyed at all costs, and bravo to Bill Skarsgård on his take as the Count! The gothic atmosphere and filming style sets the tone perfectly for a period piece such as this. While this is a vampire movie don't expect it be a carnage filled action fest like Van Helsing or Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. Nosferatu has a story to tell and it can be too "Artsy Fartsy" for the average movie goer that go's into this expecting nonstop vampire chaos. Yes you do get some vampire carnage and disturbing images, and it's done very effectively. Nosferatu 2024 is a great addition to its predecessor!
The Terrifier movies keep going full pedal to the metal each movie at a time! Usually horror slashers would have its limits, but with this franchise it does not hold back. The kills are in your face, and it leaves you in total shock as you'd expect from a Terrifier movie. It does have moments where children are put in danger, but thankfully this movie knows better not to have those moments in full detail as opposed to other kills. Overall this 3rd movie does great with tone and atmosphere especially for the Christmas theme. It's a must see for any horror fan! Art the Clown and Victoria are a sinister duo. At this point, Art the Clown is the face of modern horror!
