My husband and I watched this show from the start and the first two episodes were really very good and it grabbed us as locked us in and we were hopeful for a great season. We love Kathy Bates and she did a very good job. But seriously this show just got worse and worse after the first few episodes and with each episode. The acting (except Kathy) was excruciatingly bad. The other actors were not good. With each episode we were looking at the clock wondering if it was worth watching till the end. But, We were determined to see it through till the end but it was painful. We will not watch season 2 if they have a season 2.
Masiela Lusha playing Bella as the female lead was one of the most annoying characters I have ever watched in a movie. Her squeaky little girl voice got more and more grating as the movie progressed. Her character was so shallow and irritating. She never seemed to improve as the story went on and on. The other "actors" weren't much better! There simply was actually nothing entertaining or heartwarming about this movie. Well...maybe the scenery was nice, as the lodge setting was quaint and lovely. Such a typical and predictable ending. I can't even figure out why I watched the whole thing except maybe thinking it'd have to get better. Don't waste your time on this one.
I watched this movie all the way through as I thought it had a Pertinent and important topic that needs dealt with. But it was Horribly written and acted! It could have been so much better.
