Written and directed by Kyle Hytonen, Massacre at Femur Creek survives a bit of a rough start and becomes a frequently funny comedy with touches of a stoner feel to it and music by Gregory Barnes & Jupiter-8 that took a little getting used to but ended up helping the film be a bit more of an immersive comical experience.
Very funny web series containing theoretical concepts based on cinema and its expletives. Max Rudd (Set Me Free, Black) and Sam Terry (Apocryphal) create a compelling and vivid imagination combining two stories from two different movies and mix them around, whether it is protagonists changed around or the actual narratives swapped or reversed. It's simple yet effective and I always continuously watch these episodes. Wished sound was more promising though as there should be better quality sound. Other than that it's a great YouTube series and Xadrum keeps updating his fans for more of his what's to come.
Beneath a Neon Tide is a masterpiece filled with beautiful colours and excellent cinematography. Edwards does an extraordinary job with atmospheric landscapes and really powerful performances from Tom and the rest of the cast. Mark Benfield in particular steals the film however as the uncle. Great film to show any age range. Sometimes there's too much transitions and they can go on. That's why it's 9 otherwise it's very great.
