I turned this off after 15 minutes of the woman saying "so I was like...he was like...it was like" about 30 times.
This is really had to watch. 5 minutes in it is 3 seconds, cut, 3 seconds cut. The director should learn how to shoot tracking shots, shoot a scene that lasts more than a few seconds, especially when you are establishing mood, atmosphere and suspense.
Again they have to go back to the mirror universe, for they have too few original ideas. Now I know why in TOS they didn't allow women to be captains- they are either a childish buffoon like Tilly or psychotic, emotionally unstable and/or violent like Detmer, Burnham and Giorgiou. The new female character is a silly boy/girl 21st century non-binary them/they. The best female character- wisecracking Jet Reno is sorely underused. Torturous, boring dialogue and flimsy plots combined with Burnham's whispering delivery are driving me mental.
