I am a 42 year old man and this show makes me lol consistently. This show is clearly written for me. There are a lot of jokes that will fly directly above the heads of its target audience and at least make me crack a smile, usually laugh, and sometimes raise an eyebrow. If you haven't you owe it to yourself to at least check it out.
Wow, what a drop in quality between seasons. I was really geared for season 1. It was a welcome change from all the overly serious sci-fi shows of late. But now season 2 is well under way and after 7 episodes of nonsense I just give up. How many times can you have Bortus make the same joke? How many times can the entire crew hope that Isaac will maybe feel emotions just this one time? Also how bad can acting get? The things that were peppered into the first season and worked are now just hammered into your face and come off as lazy and boring. I really gave this a chance but I won't be wasting any more time hoping it gets back to the quality of the first season. Really too bad.
